Analyst, Marketing - In-flight Entertainment - American Airlines

This job is a member of the Marketing Onboard Products Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division. As the voice of the customer, develops Marketing Onboard Products (OBP) requirements for (In-flight Entertainment) and in-seat power programs.

Key Duties:

  • Functions as a critical team member creating a world class inflight connectivity (IFE) customer experience
  • Tracks, evaluates and reports ongoing airline competitive IFE developments and technological industry trends
  • Analyzes internal and external survey results to gain customer insight to help define, shape and implement AA's ongoing IFE strategy
  • Collaborates with colleagues from Tech Ops, Flight Service, Partner Marketing and numerous other internal departments as well as with our suppliers throughout all phases of aircraft programs
  • Participates in lab and on-aircraft IFE software and/or hardware product validation tests and communicates recommendations that the software and/or hardware meets OBB requirements
  • Helps manage IFE supplier relationships to drive product improvements, innovation and points of differentiation
  • Monitors ongoing IFE system performance and usage, and drives efforts to quickly correct performance issues affecting the customer experience
  • Serves as an IFE&C problem resolution liaison with internal and external customer care groups
  • Creates internal funding documents for new and retrofit IFE programs
  • Ability to travel outside of normal working hours and across various time zones (30%)

Media Services Project Manager - Zodiac Inflight Innovations
Brea, CA, USA

The Media Services Project Manager is responsible for all Media Services account management duties, which include managing Entry into Service (EIS) and initial IFE branding activities of the program, and building ongoing relationships to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. 

Key Duties:

  • Liaise with the world’s leading airlines and lead the design and execution of their passenger’s in-flight entertainment experience (PRE EIS)
  • Have a full understanding of the IFE product, branding design, development and integration process and coordinates the priorities with the branding staff
  • Report content and branding schedule and delivery updates to the PMO and account managers

Media Integration Specialist I - Zodiac Inflight Innovations

The Media Integration Specialist I produces and monitors content sets for global airlines and 3rd party customers. The main focus of the Media Integration Specialist I is to execute least complicated integration tasks (testing/validation) and assist integration team in monthly production of content sets and may be responsible for production of least complex accounts depending on skill level.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply media testing procedures which include cross referencing content tracking sheets, verifying content, and confirming proper display on RDUs (remote display units)
  • Understand customer requirements and test accordingly, learning system setups and customer profiles
  • Validate quality of content and technical compliance including audio/video sync issues, language verification, aspect ratios and metadata correctness
  • Record vendor problems, concerns, missed internal testing errors, and flag to appropriate account manager in a time sensitive manner
  • Assess and report fielded errors to account manager in a timely manner

Operations Manager - Spafax

This position will oversee successful inflight entertainment service delivery for a major US airline. This includes the delivery of all digital assets, metadata, video and audio files, from content ordering through to quality control.

The Manager will also project manage the post-production and delivery of custom videos, such as safety briefings, marketing initiatives and other ad hoc projects. The Manager will work directly with both the client and the internal account management team, helping providing system insights and recommendations that drive both efficiency and passenger satisfaction. The Manager will also develop solid working relationships with major IFE hardware providers and other key suppliers.

Key Duties:

  • Management of dedicated client metadata team
  • Distribution and confirmation of monthly content orders
  • Verification of programming, metadata and other delivery grids and databases
  • Management of all monthly file delivery to various systems operators
  • Quality control of final delivery both in-house and onsite

Account Coordinator - Spafax

This position is a vital member of the account management team for a major US airline, helping oversee all aspects of delivery of Movie, TV programming and other media assets across the fleet. This role works primarily in support of the account lead, while collaborating closely with our Acquisitions, Operations, Metadata and Production teams.

This role will also be responsible for coordinating production workflow of monthly advertising and promotional content, as well as ongoing project management of ad hoc airline content and maintenance of internal database(s).

Key Duties:

  • Screen movie and TV programs as required by acquisitions team
  • Enter monthly Movie and TV programming details and airline system orders into internal database in coordination with account team
  • Process orders as required in cooperation with the Operations team
  • Create monthly advertising and ad hoc program grid; enter and maintain orders in internal database and ensure orders are processed according to specs and timeline; participate on weekly ad calls with client and media sales team

Metadata Coordinator - West Entertainment LLC

The Role of the Metadata Coordinator is to manage cyclical IFE program updates that include Programming, Shopping, Hospitality and GUI content for the Etihad Airways’ account. As identified by the responsibilities below, you will work with internal and external hardware vendor timelines and coordinate with all fly team members. You are responsible to ensure excellence in delivery and will be required to manage workflow and co-ordination internally and with our Irvine and Singapore Offices.
