APEX/IFSA EXPO Attendees Laud Successful Event in Anaheim

(NEW YORK) – Nine out of 10 members of the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) left last month’s APEX/IFSA EXPO in Southern California eager to recommend future EXPOs to industry colleagues, according to a post-event survey. EXPO was held 15-18 September in Anaheim, California USA. With attendance more than 3,400, this year’s event ranks as one of the most successful EXPOs yet.

EXPO this year was a joint collaboration between the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and the International Flight Services Association (IFSA). The EXPO is notable in the industry for covering the entire passenger experience: Comfort & Ambience, Entertainment & Connectivity, and Catering & Services.

“EXPO has been building momentum for years, and this year’s event really demonstrates its global value; an impressive eight in 10 APEX attendees gave EXPO an ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ rating,” said Dominic Green, chairman of the APEX Events & EXPO Committee. “We’re excited for next year’s event, when we take EXPO north to Portland, Oregon.”

In response to a poll of members, APEX will take its EXPO to new locations beginning next year. In addition to the 2015 Portland event, EXPO will head to Singapore in 2016, Southern California in 2017, and Boston in 2018.

EXPO is the largest industry-driven event of its kind, with a full day of compelling educational programming – this year’s most popular topics covering the “e-aircraft” concept, wireless streaming and music licensing and rights. Additionally, attendees have access to a three-day tradeshow covering every aspect of the passenger experience and countless opportunities for reconnecting with industry colleagues and an annual Awards Ceremony that recognizes the industry’s best of the best.
