The Audio Manager will manage the entire Audio Programming team in our California office, and will work with audio managers in the UK head office and in Frankfurt. The position also requires a collaborative approach with other key stakeholders in the process, including Metadata and Audio Technical teams, Legal and Finance teams, and Client Account Managers, worldwide.

Spafax works with 60 clients worldwide and is a leader in the creation of branded content, specialized inflight entertainment management, custom marketing, advertising sales and production services. We are currently seeking an Audio Manager. The Audio Manager will manage the entire Audio Programming team in our California office, and will work with audio managers in the UK head office and in Frankfurt. The position also requires a collaborative approach with other key stakeholders in the process, including Metadata and Audio Technical teams, Legal and Finance teams, and Client Account Managers, worldwide.

 

Duties will include: • Management of audio team to source, schedule and deliver audio content in accordance with airline content strategies, editorial requirements and logistics timeline • Assessment and management of all associated resources and tools required to maximize efficiency, ensuring compliance with content security policies • Negotiation of all audio content rights and clearances • Management of all audio supplier contracts • Budget planning and ongoing P&L management • Strategic planning incorporating both new and existing audio technologies, to meet the industry’s evolving needs Experience Needed: • Essential: o 3-5 years’ managerial experience in an agency, music industry or b2b environment o Clear ability to manage resources, consistently innovating to improve processes for greater efficiency o Proven negotiation skills o Understanding of and ability to use various databases o Highly proficient Excel skills o Excellent verbal and written skills o Fluent in English o Knowledge and enthusiasm for audio in all forms, and understanding of worldwide consumer trends in audio. • Desired: o International business experience is highly desirable o Additional language skills would be an advantage

A large part of your role will be to develop strong relationships with the key contributors of the GEE group in order that all delivery of products and services to the key Client are satisfactory and well executed. Your role will require you to continuously monitor customer satisfaction and review customer feedback.

 

Key responsibilities Management •To play a key role for the business in managing a portfolio of accounts from initial take on through to on-going relationship management. You will act as a go-to expert for any client queries or issues and will work diligently to resolve these. You will engage with stakeholders throughout the business to coordinate multiple client projects that will meet and exceed client expectations. •Manage scope creep through Client change orders, internal change orders, phased delivery or methods to ensure projects deliver on time line, scope, budget and strategy expectations. •Evaluate all key project deliverables, as well as final product to ensure traceability of requirements, high quality and Client acceptance. •Ensure project meets internal and Client expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery time lines, and strategy. •Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on specific Client engagements. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and time line. •Where project control is in jeopardy, create contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and implement a revised project schedule, scope or budget in a timely manner. •Managing the client budget •Problem solving and prevention •Issue handling and resolution •Innovation/Creativity on looking at accounts suggesting ideas and ways to improve accounts. Customer Program Manager

Responsible for managing the overall program for Kontron's tier one accounts. This includes managing all companywide tasks required to support the customer's program and/or requirements. The customer programs are complicated in nature and the Customer Program Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of the program.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Interface with customers for daily requests.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to address customer requirements. This may include overseas project teams with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Management of overall program scope, schedule, and cost to ensure that financial targets and program milestones are achieved.
  • Establish program status reporting to anticipate and take corrective action in problem areas before they occur, with appropriate line organization. Proactively develop contingency plans for risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new processes which are required to support the project and/or program.
  • Responsible for contract review and input. Directly responsible for execution of contractual requirements.
  • Actively involved in all business aspects of the program to include engineering, supply chain, design control, customer service, and quality assurance.  
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Manage all phases of customer programs from product development through end of life.
  • Orchestrate, organize and conduct quarterly business reviews.
  • Contribute to winning new customized programs and assist with contract negotiation. .

 

Requirements & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
  • A minimum of five years direct experience in customer program management.
  • Experience in Embedded Computing within the Defense/Avionics Industries preferred. 
  • Two to five years direct experience in project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with advance knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and MS Project.
  • Strong leadership skills to facilitate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with all professional levels and foreign entities.
